Another Eye Update

Well I had cataract surgery this past Tuesday in Flagstaff. It went way better than the last 2 surgeries I have had! I went to Dr. Blair and he said that my vision is now 20/30 in my right eye!!!!!!! I had been 20/200, and still am that way in my left eye. I have decided to have my left eye done now. There is a very high risk that it could detach also, but he thinks if we go in and tack everything down in my eye before the cataract surgery that it will have a better chance of not detaching. I can't tell you how exciting this is. I have worn glasses since I was in first grade and I have never been this low before. I can actually see the clock without my glasses on for the first time! I will let you all know more when I go in next week for my appointment.

Hooray for you! Who'd ever think you'd get excited about yet another eye surgery. Its amazing that they can implant a new lense in your eye that will allow you to see for the first time ever without glasses. A great blessing to be thankful for. Now all you have to do is endure the pain one more time. See ya Thursday.

Last time we visited, I didn't get the "eye" update--too many other things to talk about in your very exciting life. Hope it all goes well. I can relate to the legally blind thing, but haven't ever pursued the surgery yet. Good Luck with your eyes, kids, and life in general:)

I didn't know you were having eye surgery. I wish there was something they could do so that I could see better. That is great that you can see so well, I'm jealous!
