I hope I can see straight long enough to update you all on my wonderful world of looking through a bubble!! Seriously, I am actually doing very well. I had the surgery which was pretty scary, only because if you are claustrophobic, like I am, you will totally understand. They put a paper covering over my face and had a hole opened over my right eye. I was awake during the procedure and all I could think of was that if they moved one inch over I could be suffocated! The doctors and nurses were really good and careful though. They put an oil bubble in my eye and that will have to be removed in 8 weeks. My eye has been black and blue for a week now, I can't even blame it on Dave because he was in Mexico this whole time. It's pretty much red from irritation all the time, and it is like I'm looking through a bubble. The most exciting thing I've learned is that I can see so much better out of this eye without my glasses!!!! So I'm hoping that with time it will improve even more! Thank you for all of the thoughts and prayers in my behalf. I truly felt them and appreciated it so much.
Dave finally made it home from Mexico, he had an awesome time and the Adams' Family loved everything they did. They were able to see pyramids they haven't seen yet and went to Belize City, Belize. The only real trouble they had was that one of the boys decide he wanted to lift up an iguana. When he picked it up it chomped on his arm, putting a huge gash across the width of his forearm. Pretty scary, he is doing well but he will have to be checked for rabies. Hopefully the Adams' will spread the word about the trip and we will get some more going.
